  12. I own an old A1200 with Microbotics 50Mhz 1230XA accelerator, 3.5 inch 
  13. Quantum Trailblazer Hard Disk (850Mb), and a Power Computing HD floppy.

  15. Last time I used it, the screen blanked and the power light flashed on 
  16. and off.  Assuming it was a loose connection, I powered down and checked 
  17. connections - no problems, but now when I power up the hard disk spins up 
  18. and reads a little as normal and the caps lock on the keyboard flashes as 
  19. usual, but the machine doesn`t boot and I'm left with a black screen.
  20.  
  21. Any ideas on what's wrong, or has anybody had any similar experiences?
  22. Failing that, can anyone recommend a reliable, *cheap* repair company in
  23. the UK?
